Maz Martin interviewed me for her website- social media expert to the photography industry. It lasted for a good 30 minutes, i really surprised myself by having so much to say! I discuss getting into photography, tips, my award winning travel image and more.

I was interviewed last week by Maz of mazmatin.com about my photographic journey so far and how i got the image that won SWPP Travel photographer of the year. The interview will be available to listen next week! Hope i didn’t ramble too much!

This images has won me SWPP travel photographer of the year 2011. I was very lucky to meet a local man in Fez that took me into the tannery where everybody was busy working and took no notice of of me. After spending quite some time wondering around in my element i offered my new friend some money for showing me the tannery, he refused and said he just wanted to show me and my friends around. I’m very grateful he did.

While on holiday in Perth, my partner and i took the four hour flight to go and check out Sydney. I loved photographing the city at night and i did it all without a tripod, lots of leaning on things and a very steady hand go along way! Sydney was great, a really vibrant city with a great atmosphere.
