I have never met someone as nervous as michelle when it came to getting photos taken, she admitted to a sleepless night! I’m not sure why she was so nervous as i thought thought her and Davie were really relaxed and had fun at the Winter Gardens

Andrew and Shona pre-wed
Andrew and Shona are getting married in October this year. We were going to do their pre wed shoot at Balmedie but the weather was too wild so i came up with the idea of Fitty AKA Footdee. I love walking around Fitty and looking at all the colourful sheds, an ideal back drop. I thought they really worked as Triptych’s.
Mark and Pamela pre wed
Mark and Pamela have come over from South Africa for their wedding at Glentanar. We met at Dunnotter castle to have a chat for the first time and get to know each other a wee bit before their big day.
Bella
Possibly the cutest little girl EVER! Bella was a pleasure to photograph. She is only 2 years old but when i asked her parents to get her to lie down or sit in the middle she just listened to me and did it! i was so impressed!

Richard and claire – pre wed
The rain on the day of Richard and claire’s pre wedding shoot was torrential so claire’s mum came up with the idea of the Winter gardens in Duthie park- a location i had completely forgot about! Sometimes it looked like we were in a jungle but a great idea for a rainy day- we get a few a year…

The Neal family. I had a competition advertised in Trend Magazine, the prize was a portrait session with prints and a canvas. Little Jody was a star!
Andrew and Sarah – pre wed
Andrew and Sarah chose crathes castle gardens for their pre wedding shoot. Being a true Aberdonian (tight with pennies!) i had always refused to pay £8 to see a garden, Andrew insisted on paying and through the gate we went and i fell in love! What a garden, it is beautiful, every where i turned was an ideal place for pics. Looking forward to their wedding in July
Joe and Ashley- pre wed
We started off at Dunnotter castle but the weather was so wild i couldn’t see Ashley face for her hair blowing over it! We then went down to Stonehaven harbour for shelter and founds loads of quirky places for shots.
Fiona’s bump
Fiona’s bump at 8.5 months! Ready to pop. The shoot was in her own home which was ideal for a photo shoot.

Chris and Jenna – pre wedding shoot
We got a fantastic day for Chris and Jenna’s pre wedding shoot at Balmedie beach. Their gorgeous kids came along too and were a delight to photograph. Fingers crossed we get a day like that for their wedding in August!
