Bruce and Jill
I picked up quirky vibes from Bruce and Jill from the start. Jill made all her own unique wedding favours, place settings and wedding cake and her accessories were very different to the usual bridal tiara etc. So i thought some quirky wedding photos were the only way to go!
Davie and Michelle pre-wed
I have never met someone as nervous as michelle when it came to getting photos taken, she admitted to a sleepless night! I’m not sure why she was so nervous as i thought thought her and Davie were really relaxed and had fun at the Winter Gardens
Mark and Pamela
Mark and Pamela got married at Glentanar estate. Because they had so many guest travelling from all over the world to be with them i spent alot of time taking candid guest shots. Pamela and Mark are not big fans of posing and wanted me to capture their guests as much as them.
Andrew and Shona pre-wed
Andrew and Shona are getting married in October this year. We were going to do their pre wed shoot at Balmedie but the weather was too wild so i came up with the idea of Fitty AKA Footdee. I love walking around Fitty and looking at all the colourful sheds, an ideal back drop. I thought they really worked as Triptych’s.
Andrew and Sarah
Andrew and Sarah got married on a Monday at Ardoe House Hotel. I don’t think i have ever met a couple so relaxed getting their photo taken! Perfect for me but i know the reality is the most people don’t like it! Sarah’s sister Leona, wrote her a song and played guitar, it was such a lovely moment!
Mark and Pamela pre wed
Mark and Pamela have come over from South Africa for their wedding at Glentanar. We met at Dunnotter castle to have a chat for the first time and get to know each other a wee bit before their big day.
Jamie & Gillian
Jamie and Gillian got married at the Craigandarroch Hotel in Ballater. I used to go on Caravan holidays to Ballater as a kid and love any excuse to head there as it’s such a lovely place.
Graeme and Louise
Graeme and Louise got married at the Gordon Highlander museum, another new location for me as the museum is quite new to weddings. The gardens are beautiful

Alex and Shona
Alex and Shona got married at St Machars cathedral and then went onto Pittodrie stadium for their reception. I used to cover matches at Pittodrie and had never thought of it as a wedding location but it surprised me, i really enjoyed it!
