SWPP Travel photographer of the year 2011!!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:09 am

This images has won me SWPP travel photographer of the year 2011. I was very lucky to meet a local man in Fez that took me into the tannery where everybody was busy working and took no notice of of me. After spending quite some time wondering around in my element i offered my new friend some money for showing me the tannery, he refused and said he just wanted to show me and my friends around. I’m very grateful he did.

While on holiday in Perth, my partner and i took the four hour flight to go and check out Sydney. I loved photographing the city at night and i did it all without a tripod, lots of leaning on things and a very steady hand go along way! Sydney was great, a really vibrant city with a great atmosphere.

Mr & Mrs Newton got married on the 18th Feb 2012 at Mossman Park, Perth, Australia. A very different wedding for me to cover – Hot and Sunny!! A first for a scottsh wedding photographer – well it was at least 30 degrees, my limit is about 20 degrees. A lovely day and i was in my element with so many new surroundings to use :) More pics to come

Mr & Mrs Brand got married on the 10th of February 2012 at Oldmeldrum house hotel. Quite a chilly day, i felt guilty wrapped up in my Northface jacket while Yvonne braved the cold in her gorgeous dress. I’m editing their pics from sunny Australia as i’m on my hols which is a working holiday as i photographed my partner’s brother’s wedding – next entry!
