Janet & Mitchell had an EPIC wedding and i wouldn’t have expected anything different! Janet & Mitchell are very creative people, well Janet more so….! She is a crafting expert, check out her facebook page Heart art Aberdeen to see all her gorgeous hand made bits and pieces. I met up with them a year before their wedding date and Janet was sitting crocheting blankets for the big day. Pretty much everything was home made, all the cushions and chair covers included!
So where to begin…. At Marischal college. I had never been there for a ceremony and i was really impressed, the room was lovely and the service was laid back and personal. The kebab shop where Janet & Mitchell met even got a mention. After the ceremony Mitchell wanted some ‘grimey’ shots, his words! I was happy to take part, i love it when couples have ideas, so we went down to the tunnels and for some grime and were heckled by some early boozers outside the pub! It was then back to their home for a BBQ, we also managed to fit in a cycle to a field for some shots as well.
The next day was for the big party at Garlogie village hall, it was filled with so much crafted goodness i didn’t know where to start photographing! Then the wee red bus arrived! ARGHHHH have you ever seen anything so cute?! It could surprisingly fit quite a few people in it, guests got to go for a spin then they could come back and get an ice cream…Yep they had an ice cream van…Then after ice cream the guests could go on the bouncy castle.
I think i’ll stop rambling on now, you can get the jist, there was a lot going on!
