I offer bespoke services

I have one main wedding package which includes the whole day, from bridal prep to 3-4 dances in the evening, I love telling the story of a whole day but I know this isn’t for everyone so i’m happy to come up with a bespoke quote to suit you.

The full day package with all edited images supplied on a USB stick is £2000

I want to know the details about your day, I love weddings and get excited chatting about them!  Tell me about your venue, style, number of guests, who the party animals are and who is most likely to cry….I love to capture all the emotions and moments.

My style is natural yet creative.  I photograph a wedding day as it happens, I will not boss you around and tell you where to stand- unless you want me to!  I’m all about photographing you and your family and friends enjoying the day,not posing awkwardly.

For commercial or portrait rates please get in touch using the contact form.

I find there is usually a 5-10 minute dry spell on a wet day or if it rains all day you get an amazing evening/sunset.  I just go with the flow.  It it’s pouring,I understand if you don’t want to go outside, if there is drizzle, you can stick up a brolly and shelter under trees/doorways.  Make the rain part of your day, it is Scotland afterall!

I am more than happy to organise a date to meet up for an informal chat.  I much prefer to get to know a couple a wee bit before photographing their wedding day.

I require a £300 deposit, this secures your date.

I am in a group of full of awesome wedding photographers from all over Scotland, everyone helps each other out and I feel confident I could supply great cover at short notice.

Of course!  I have insurance which covers liability, professional indemnity and my equipment.

You will receive your USB stick 6-8 weeks after your wedding date.

You will get a link to view your wedding gallery that you can share with family and friends.  There is the option to purchase from the gallery.

I supply all edited images on a USB stick for your own printing.  The images are around 6/7 MB and can be printed to a large scale, they do not have any watermarks on them.  I also supply a number of images in B&W.

Albums can be purchased after your wedding.  I like to keep albums simple, with clean layouts so they won’t look dated in years to come.  You can also add parent albums, these are exact mini replicas of the main album.  I get you to write a list of images that MUST go in and a list of images that MUST NOT go in. You get to choose album cover type and colour.  Albums can be ordered straight after your wedding or you can get in touch a year after!  My album supplier is Sim Imaging.

This depends on number of guests and how much coverage.  If you had between 70-100 guests and full day coverage you would get around 400-600 images.  This seems like a lot but I do try and get natural shots of all your guests.

As with B&G photos this should be quick! I don’t think your wedding day should be about standing in a line forcing a smile then getting stressed as someone has nipped to the bar or toilet.  I recommend 6-10 group photos.  I prefer to get natural shots of your guests having fun.

I don’t think your wedding day is the time and place to go on a crazy long fashion styled shoot.  I recommend 20-25 mins max to get some lovely B&G photos then back to the party! I often ask if you would like to come out for 5-10 mins to get some portraits in different light before I go, this might be in softer light or in the dark where I can get creative with flash.

I love photographing weddings at different venues and cities.  The furthest I have been is Australia…. Working in 40 degrees is very different to 16 degrees in Scotland on a good day! If your wedding is within 100 miles of Aberdeen and you want full day coverage there is no extra fee.  I’m happy to discuss travel costs and to try and fit them into your budget if your wedding is further afield.

I use two Nikon D750’s at a wedding and have a variety of lenses. I prefer to shoot with natural light but use flash on occasion.  I also occasionally use a video light.

A pre wedding shoot is a great opportunity for us to get to know each better, for me to see how much help you need to try and feel natural in front of the camera and for you both to see how I work.  It can be added onto your package, the is cost £250 for someone who has booked me for their wedding and £300 for a shoot if you haven’t booked me. It includes an hour shoot to a location of your choice within a 30 miles radius of Aberdeen city centre.  The images are high res with no watermark and are supplied on a gallery that you can download.

I Have loads of suggestions for pre wedding shoot locations and am happy to help you choose.  If you have a favourite walk/castle/place that you go together it can be lovely to get some shots there.  If you have a dog take it along!  If you have children take them along too!  As for clothing, it does depend on the location.  I love a pop of colour in a forest, if you wear green you will disappear!  Busy patterns can be distracting and if it’s a windy day, don’t wear a floaty dress as you will spend the whole shoot holding it down!

I arrive 2 hours before the ceremony, you don’t need photographs of you eating breakfast!  I find this is the perfect amount of time to photograph all the details and excitement.  A wee tip I recommend is- if you have gifts for parents/bridal party, wait until the photographer arrives before you give them as it is a lovely moment to photograph!

I can photograph a wedding with up to 100 people on my own with no problem.  If you having  more guests I suggest adding a second shooter to your package, the is cost £200.  I have a variety of photographers I use for second shooting, a lot of them are wedding photographers so they are confident shooters. The second shooter is organised 1/2 months before your wedding date, depending on the availability of my contacts.

  • We hired Donna through our wedding planner and since it was a destination wedding we did not meet prior to the day of our wedding - which made me nervous. However, I shouldn't have been - Donna was just INCREDIBLE! Professional, lovely and she even put up with my crazy family (which is like herding cats) and the photos which we received are STUNNING. I highly recommend her for your wedding
