It’s been nearly a week since i exhibited at the YWE wedding fayre at the AECC, i can honestly say it was exhausting!! There is such a build up to the fayre as there are so many things to organise. I wanted to create a hanging wall feature to hang photographs from so it was a little bit different to everyone else’s and i just like to make things! I went to Countessewells forest and collected some branches, i then sanded them down and sawed off any jagged bits. I also made up new flyers, bought hessian table cloths and spray painted my logo on to the front, i bought some old view master from ebay and got a guy from the Isle of White to make up some reels for me with 10 different weddings/venues. I was really pleased with my view masters and reels, i loved the one i had in the 1980’s and they were a great talking point! I also made up two new albums so i had more variety to show couples, it really does all add up! It was definitely worth it though, i had so many lovely people coming to see me and i got lots of compliments. My advice for anyone looking for a photographer is book early! So many couples were struggling to find a photographer for their date. It’s important to get on with your wedding photographer and to love their style of pics so book early so you don’t end up with someone you aren’t 100% happy with.
